Valeant's acquisition of Bausch & Lomb has certainly been felt in our area, and job cuts have become a sad reality for many. We've had questions from several folks about different topics relating to separation from service with an employer, including healthcare, severance, 401(k) options, etc. With that in mind we'd like to extend the offer to provide guidance, information, and an ear to listen further.
My colleague, Sam DiNorma and I are hosting an informational seminar for anyone who has already left, or will be leaving Bausch & Lomb in the near future. Our agenda is to provide information on a myriad of topics, including the continuation of healthcare benefits, transitioning to a new career, and the various options with B&L retirement accounts, some of which have very specific parameters. We hope you can join us!
